First Day Of Shooting
We filmed our first parts of the movie through Luncheon and Study on Monday afternoon. We did this as a "first draft" just testing out different shots and how the film would be shot basically. Only a few of the shots from the first day are still in our film as we believed they could be improved. The shots that we did include from the first day of filming were: The whole kitchen sequence apart from a few shots in there and the walking sequence. At the time we thought it went quite well however we tried to rush for a finish in the first day which made some of the shots look scruffy and have to be filmed again in the next few days. This was when we decided to film again a number of times to make each part of the film have a variety of shots but all of the same context and upload after every session to make sure everything was near perfect and nothing needed filming again and also that if a shot did not look good enough we could easily replace it with a shot from a different angle. Because of this process filming happened accross a week and took approximately 4 lunches and 2 study lessons. However it was worth it as it made editing process much more easier. We tested out many locations on the first day and it helped us decide what we are gonna have in our film (The shots in the alley way) We learnt from our first day of filming to take more care and time with everything be it filming or editing. We took notice of this for the rest of the days we filmed not worrying about finishing in time. Peace Out breda
